The New Mexico African American Artists’ Guild
Description
The New Mexico African American Artists’ Guild is open to all, and was founded in '72 to preserve the long-standing contributions of Blacks to the NM arts.

The New Mexico African American Artists’ Guild is open to all, and was founded in 1972 to preserve the long-standing African American artistic heritage of New Mexico, as well as to promote, support, and provide networking opportunities for artists who demonstrate an African American cultural worldview from which they draw inspiration for work. We carry out our mission through scheduling and coordinating exhibits of member works; providing access to members as mentors, guides or teachers; as well as fulfilling and engaging social events.
